Manuel Andrade

Manuel Andrade began his 26-year career in construction and civil engineering on his 18th birthday when he joined the Laborers Union Local 507 in the city of Long Beach, CA.  Through his 2 1/2 years of employment at Brutoco Engineering, Manuel began to develop the fundamental skills that were needed for his success within the industry.

Manuel continued his upward climb within the ranks of the Laborers Union when he joined Heritage Engineering as a Journeyman Laborer.  His success was immediate as he was promoted to Foreman within a year.  His knowledge of the industry and his skill sets allowed him to continue growing within the profession, as Manuel was promoted to Superintendent three years later and continued to work for the company for seven more years.  During that tenure of employment, his work consisted primary on overseeing projects related to CalTrans' Freeway Construction and Improvement Program.

In 1997, Manuel began his work with 4-Con Engineering as a General Superintendent and worked for a period of five years.

In February 2002, Manuel founded Sol Construction, Inc as a way to ensure that he would be able to develop a systematic, multi-dimensial approach towards civil, mechanical and solar engineering.
